A therapist wont ever suggest you cope by indulging in a fictional version of what traumatised you. Especially when YOU yourself are a minor, and definitely not in a space with other children present... Advocating for the voice of people of colour and the disabled shouldn't be in the same boat as a lot of adults watching fictional CP and then telling minors like yourself its okay... hi there! i'm happy to answer ur question. we actually indulge in many other things, and i do my best to protest censorship and speak out against the silencing of poc, disabled, and so on voices. i also don't think that topics like incest and rape should be kept so hush-hush. Yes, they should be treated with care whenr eferring to real life cases adn such, but it also silences survivors such as myself and makes them feel worse. i personally indulge in these things because i am a victim, and it was both recommended by my therapist, and is a better outletr than any other coping mechanism or reaction i have (: hopefully this answers ur questions!
